Honeywell’s Fleet Maintenance Coordinator, Rickey Easley, runs a fleet of 48 hydrofluoric acid trailers and 24 refrigerant trailers out of Geismar, Louisiana.

For more than 22 years, one thing about this complex operation has not changed: its relationship with the professionals at what is now CTTECH.

“I have nothing but good things to say about them,” Easley said, adding that the work is critical to the successful operation of the company. “They do all my maintenance, all my repairs, all the running gear. They have a satellite office at my plant at Honeywell and the guys report directly to that shop. I’ve had the same two guys in there for several years – they’re my right hand. I can call them anytime day or night and they’ll answer the phone. Whatever we need — it’s not if they can come, it’s what time do I need them.”

Recently, one of Easley’s trailers was in an accident in Corpus Christi, Texas, and he knew he could rely on CTTECH’s expertise and swift response to the situation.

“The first phone call I made was to (CTTECH) to make sure they could take it and get the repairs done in a timely manner,” Easley explained. “They made all the arrangements and I didn’t need to worry about anything. I called two days later and it was done. It’s above and beyond. They handle routine things like changing tires, maintaining the brakes and doing inspections. But it’s all the other things they do for me. I can call them any time day or night. They get it done so we won’t miss a load. These loads are expensive. The industry is so tight, if you lose a load, you might lose that company and that relationship. Those guys are top-notch.”
